Jen is a wonderful cook. She has taken our juicy wild blackberries and turned them into a gourmet breakfast. See for yourself! We try to use as many of the fruits from the lodge property as we can, and this breakfast has been a huge hit!

Our chickens are finally starting to lay eggs! So that means that starting in a few weeks all of our breakfast will be using organic fed, farm fresh, chicken eggs!

Congratulations to the WWU Class of 2011. This weekend we’re hosting a family get-together in honor of their son’s graduation from WWU. They’re staying overnight and will enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning, but today they’re using our meeting room to enjoy a celebration cook-out.

Here are some pictures from breakfast this morning. Jen & I prepared creamy blueberry cinnamon oatmeal, warm banana pecan oat bran muffins, cheesy hash-browns, maple flavored ham-steak, fruit & yogurt parfaits, and the guests choice of water, orange juice, coffee or tea. It was delicious!

Anderson Creek Lodge is proud to announce that our shipment of Turkish Cotton towels arrived this morning. These, in addition to our new WaterPik™ shower heads, were all purchased to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We’re also in the process of redecorating some of our rooms, so check back soon for new pictures.

In other news, Whale sightings have started off the San Juan Islands, so book your room today for a great sight seeing adventure here in the beautiful pacific northwest.
