We hope to come back and when we do we will definitely stay at your lodge again. We just wish we were able to stay longer. It was a delightful stay. Jen is a wonderful cook. She has taken our juicy wild blackberries and turned them into a gourmet breakfast. See for yourself! We try to use as many of the fruits from the lodge property as we can, and this breakfast has been a huge hit!
Our chickens are finally starting to lay eggs! So that means that starting in a few weeks all of our breakfast will be using organic fed, farm fresh, chicken eggs!
Congratulations to the WWU Class of 2011. This weekend we’re hosting a family get-together in honor of their son’s graduation from WWU. Here are some pictures from breakfast this morning. Jen & I prepared creamy blueberry cinnamon oatmeal, warm banana pecan oat bran muffins, cheesy hash-browns, maple flavored ham-steak, fruit & yogurt parfaits, and the guests choice of water, orange juice, coffee or tea. It was delicious!
